About the plant :

It is the saving plant of the Middle Ages, it was used for its purifying virtues and to cure eye problems, hence the name salvia which means «save». The Greeks and the Romans used it for its toning properties and in Egypt the women drank the juice of Sage for its action on fertility. Shamans and healers thought it helped to develop our visionary abilities.

Here is a few properties of Clary Sage essential oil:

• It is the essential oil of women, it is indicated for all female problems, be it gynecological, for menopause, hot flashes, vaginal dryness, menstrual pain, too profuse periods... ( or the contrary, because it a regulatory action).
• It is indicated in case of excessive perspiration.
• it has an anti-sebum and regulating action: oily skin/hair.
• Anti-cellulite, it helps in the removal of fat.
