About the plant :

Java Citronnella is a tropical herbaceous plant native to southern India belonging to the Poaceae family. Also called Verveine des Indes or lemon grass, it has remarkable aromatic qualities. Very popular in the kitchen, the fresh stems cut into slices give a lemony taste to the dishes of southeast Asia.
