About the plant :

TAssociated since antiquity with Hell and the cult of the dead, the Cypress is the tree of mourning and immortality because it always remains green. Symbol of eternity, it is often found in cemeteries. In China it is found on graves, it would give strength to the soul of the dead. His wood was so-called indestructible. Cypress essential oil, extracted from branches, is used for its properties on venous and lymphatic circulation, including its vasoconstrictive properties. Cypress essential oil is produced by steam distillation of leafy branches. It takes about 1 kg of twigs to obtain 10 ml of essential oil.
