About the plant :

Incense is the tree of meditation linked to spirituality and more precisely to spiritual elevation. It is used in fumigations in ritual ceremonies. This essential oil is produced from the resin of a tree that is believed to be native to Dhofar, in the present-day Sultanate of Oman. In Egypt it was used for its meditative properties because it opened the consciousness and served for the embalming of bodies.
